Minecraft 1.8 Render Distance Bug/Glitch

What I expected to happen was...:
to see farther so my chunks will already be loaded.

What actually happened was...:
chunks lagged everywhere you looked and moved and blocks were fake

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start a game
2. Go to options and then video settings
3. Make the Render Distance 7 and above
