Game output forces scrolling to the end on update

When new data is pushed to the game output log, the scrolling is forced to the end, which makes it really hard to read and select earlier data in the log without having to quit minecraft first. It would be nice if the new data is filled to the log in the background without updating the scrolling unless your current position is at the end.
