forcing 1.7.10 update on 1.7.2 profile

my profile is saved to launch 1.7.2
when I select any of my worlds, it forces the 1.7.10. (in lower left corner has "Updated to 1.7.10")

I do not have anything in the profile checked to play any new updated versions. How do I stop the 1.7.10 update to my worlds?

I found the cause. A mod I've had installed for awhile was causing MC 1.7.10 to load. Removed the mod & it loads 1.7.2 that's in my profile.
