Downloaded minecraft. Press Play, downloads some stuff, and then back to press play again - repeat, repeat.

First time using MC for pc. Opened the launcher. when I press Play, it downloads some stuff, then brings me back into the launcher page again, where I again press play, it downloads some more stuff.....repeats, repeats.
