Java Edition doesn't show GamerTag on bottom right. I cannot play game and button shows Buy Now instead of play.

The Java Edition doesn't recognize my account and do not show my Gamertag on the bottom right. It states "Player"; however, when I change to Bedrock Edition, Dungeons and Legends it shows my Gamer Tag there. I have an old copy of Java Edition only. I was able to log into the game several weeks ago, sometime in October 2024. Now, I cannot even play. It only gives me the option for Buy Now or Play the Demo when I open the installation file.
