Issues loading certain versions

Recently I was playing Minecraft 1.21 or 1.20 or something like that, then I launched 1.7.3 then tried to go back to a newer version but it launches, but it doesn't actually open a window, i managed to figure out that it still works properly on 1.7.3 - 1.11.2 but 1.12 and above freeze on the loading screen or don't open a window at all, please help (have not tested before 1.7.3 or snapshots only releases)
