Login issues

With the minecraft launcher from the microsoft store (windows 10/11) version, whenever I run the launcher, it asks "Do you own this game or app?". I do own the game. I was given two options, which was to either "manage subscription" or to "See in microsoft store". Neither of those options resolved the problem. When I looked it up on microsoft store, it said that I own the game. So, I reinstalled the launcher, and then i ran it, I again received the same error. Eventually, i looked it up on the internet and found an xbox forum which suggested I download the windows 7/8 version of the Minecraft launcher, which supposedly is much more stable than the windows 10/11 version according to the person who made the post. Surprisingly, the windows 7/8 version did work, and I could log in and access Minecraft without error. Though, via this version, I can't launch bedrock edition. It would be nice if this issue would be resolved soon, as having to resort to a very outdated version of the Minecraft launcher is rather annoying and a bit pathetic, if you ask me.
