Java Account Creation Issue on MacOs

I'm not the best with this aspect of technology so please forgive my ignorance. That being said, let's just jump right into it. I recently purchased Minecraft, I'm on an Apple laptop(the MacBook air with the m2 chip). I created a Microsoft account, made sure I had an Xbox live profile, the whole 9 yards, I have java downloaded and up to date. So I download Minecraft, boot up java edition to get on a realm with friends and this happens. I have to have a username for java edition, I tried a random one, I tried the one that corresponds with my xbox live gamertag. What do I do to fix this?
