Opening Laucher Takes much longer than before

Opening the Minecraft launcher takes me much longer than before. What I mean is waiting for it to load. Ever since the new armadillo running thing was added, it would take much longer than usual. But this might just be because of my device I'm using, because it doesn't take very long for it to load on other devices I see.
