File system error "-2015294512"

My son is trying to log into Minecraft for Windows, using the launcher he normally uses to log into Minecraft: Java Edition (V2.12.17-1.6.2) .

When he selects minecraft for windows, it says that it is incompatible with this launcher (see 2023-11-01 18_41_08-Minecraft Launcher.jpg)

We downloaded the new launcher as advised, but it still doesn't work. we obtain an error message, following the launch of the new launcher (see 2023-11-01 11_34_28-Window.jpg).

We tried to check and repair the system (SFC, DISM, ...) It still doesn't work, we still get the same error code.

The firewall has been checked and is configured to allow the launcher to be launched.

What should we do please?

should we buy Minecraft for windows (Bedrock), when we have already purchased Minecraft Java edition?
