Windows Launcher is not auto-updating

My Minecraft Launcher is not auto-updating Minecraft for Windows to v1.20.40, I'm still under 1.20.32

 

I am unable to play co-op with my friend on xbox as they are on v1.20.40 and i am on v1.20.32
