Laucher on OS X does not start properly anymore

The launcher on Mac OS does not launch properly anymore. It complains that it cannot find my Microsoft account. I belief this to be false, as I have been using this for quite some time with Minecraft already. Nor am I able to connect to my Microsoft account through the launcher. I can access my account from with by browser perfectly.

I am on the latest version maxOS (Sonoma, version 14.0) Macbook Pro (Apple M1). Also, I have restarted the launcher a few time, but ended up with the same result each time.
