Account switcher does nothing

The Minecraft Launcher has an interface to log out or switch accounts. But clicking anything in the drop down menu does nothing except close the menu.

However, if I click on 'Skins' first, the menu starts working and I can log out. Still, there seems to be no way to log in multiple accounts at the same time.
