Minecraft Launcher opens for a split second and then closes itself

The new Minecraft Launcher when opened closes itself afterwards. No updates or significant changes have been made during that time.

What I expected to happen was...:
The launcher opening and launching Minecraft normally.

What actually happened was...:
The launcher opens, but then closes itself after one second, no crash logs or anything, still opened in Task Manager.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the Minecraft Launcher
2. Wait
