Minecraft modded 1.19.2 starts up and lets me into my world but freezes everything but the player character.

Playing a modded version of java minecraft for 1.19.2 and it starts, lets me in the game, but then everything but me freezes. I don't take damage, blocks dont drop, I can't interact with chests, and the launcher says its a memory issue.
