I don't see my selected skin in-game in a local game

I wanted to communicate with you since I cannot modify my skin in minecraft java edition. I have tried to make the changes both from the official page https://www.minecraft.net/ and from the launcher of the game. The skin is displayed within the page or within the launcher, but when entering the game in any version, the skin is not visible. The skin is only displayed if I enter the servers; In local and solo worlds, the skin is not visible and, failing that, Steve's default skin is displayed. I would like to know if it is possible to solve this error that has been happening to me for some time now. I've tried uninstalling the launcher and reinstalling it, I've also tried doing it from another PC, but the error persists.
