Launcher on plain vanilla UBUNTU doesn't work

Installed a new Linux system. Downloaded the official installer (DEB package). Unlocked the keyring to avoid any potential issue and I still can't launch the game using the Microsoft login page. It fails with the "unexpected error...message".

Reinstalled after removing all files (.minecraft). At 1st launch it popped the login windows selection. No trouble. I hit Microsoft Login - it creates a windows with Page Not Found displayed. and that's it.
