Wi-Fi disappears and game crashes when launching Bedrock Edition
This has only happened twice, but I suspect it will happen again in which case I will gather screenshots to confirm my findings.
Steps as followed:
- Start the Minecraft launcher.
- Launch Bedrock Edition.
- Play for a while and quit the game.
- Start the Minecraft launcher.
- Launch Bedrock Edition.
From there you will get a black screen that fails to load Minecraft and the computer will freeze preventing you from moving the mouse and or ending the application in which you will have to manually turn your computer off. I proceed to do so and turn my computer back on and the Wi-Fi icon is nonexistent on the bar in the bottom right of the home screen and it does not show up in settings.
I suspect Minecraft is trying to manipulate the Wi-Fi in some capacity but as a result, messes up the driver which disables the computers ability to connect to the internet.
I have been able to fix the issue by connecting to a ethernet cable and having the Wi-Fi establish itself again but this has happened twice already and is a huge hassle since I need to physically move my desktop across my house to a room which has an ethernet cable located in it.
The following screenshots are mere seconds before the computer proceeds to 'freeze' and I am forced to physically hold the power button down and turn off my desktop.
UPDATE:
Here is the launcher_log.txt file as requested.
