Minecraft Fails to Start

When I try to start any version of Java Minecraft from the launcher, the loading bar gets about a 12th of the way through on the preparing phase, and the button says waiting for install. "Sorry, unable to start Minecraft." Is the error message I get. I've tried everything I could find to fix it, from deleting and reinstalling Minecraft, signing out and signing back into Microsoft store, deleting temp files, and a few other things. It's effected nothing.
