Error on downloading Minecraft for Windows, it is always saying error and wont give me a reason.

I have tried downloading the Minecraft for Windows and I cannot due some type of error. I don't know what is going on but I would like help resolving this issue. I have restarted my PC as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the launcher. I tried downloading the Java edition and it works. So I am genuinely confused on what the issue is. Thanks.
