Launcher is buggy

When I start the minecraft launcher, I get an error as shown in the image and cannot start minecraft. (The image is in Japanese, but it says "Oops!　Sorry for the inconvenience, but an unexpected problem has occurred. Please try restarting the launcher. If the problem persists, please file a bug report here.)
Reinstalling did not solve the problem and downloading the latest version from the official website did not change it. This problem has not been resolved for over a year now and I hope it will be resolved soon.
