Old account that's been paid for now doesn't own Minecraft

I bought a second account a few years ago before Migration and I decided to log back into it today. I migrated the account, created a new Microsoft account for it, but it's now telling me that I need to buy Minecraft in order to play. Do I need to pay again in order to actually play Minecraft on the account? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
