missing name and texture

I just downloaded the new Snapshot to see the new endermite, When I wants to go to the end. I did /give jorick14 minecraft:end_portal and I got it. Its name was tile.null.name and the textures were purple/black checker (only in my inventory) when I placed it it was a normal endportal.
