Minecraft Updater quit unexpectedly, on Mac OS

This week the Minecraft Launcher stopped working on Mac OS Ventura (13.2.1)

Everytime I start it, it starts downloading the update files, and then crashes with "Minecraft Updater quit unexpectedly."
