what i expect to happen is to log in i the new launcher

what happened is it will only let me log in on the old launcher

description:
new launcher worked fine until the update on "2-21-14"
day before update worked fine (and learned new update was coming out), day of the update wouldn't let me play online (said on the play slot "play offline"), so i logged out to see if that would help but made it worse not i can't even log in, so tried opening the port still wouldn't let me on (both Norton and windows) so tried old launcher it worked (but i got a problem with that because i can't play online) so how do i get the new launcher working?
