Launching Minecraft Versions between 1.6.4 and 1.8.9 results in an error "unable to create context"

Using the Minecraft launcher from the AUR, it appears that whenever I try to launch versions before 1.8.9 and after 1.6.4, the game doesn't launch, and the error "Sorry, unable to launch minecraft" appears in the corner. In the launcher log it says "unable to create running context" when the error occurs. Full log here.
