I have to always verify and repair for it to work, so I can't play mods.

I've been having an issue with the Minecraft Launcher.  Every time I try playing the game, it never opens.  I found a way to fix it, which is to verify and repair the Minecraft Launcher from the Xbox, but if I try playing a mod using that method, it never works.  It would be very appreciated if you could help me with this.
