can i play mc dungeons without buying it

I was using the launcher to play minecraft, out of curiosity I entered the "minecraft dungeons" section and it appeared to install, I gave it and when it finished it came out to play, I entered and if it let me play, I never bought the game and previously I had entered and It told me "buy" and I tried to search why, but I have not found anything
