I cant access Minecraft bedrock edition from the Minecraft launcher but can from the Minecraft app

I usually launch Minecraft bedrock edition through the launcher but I own the actual Minecraft bedrock edition app for some reason I can't launch Minecraft bedrock edition through the Minecraft launcher because it says I don't own it but i can launch it through the Minecraft bedrock edition app
