Errors In Bedrock Edition Install Location (With Note on A Previous Report)

To preface this, I have seen another report (MCL-21747) that addresses the exact same issue seen here. However, that report was marked as resolved due to a lack of any response from the sender, and all of the recommended actions offered by support failed to resolve the issue on my end.

I bought Java Edition from the Mojang website itself a year ago, linked my Microsoft account to it, but I'd never interacted with the Microsoft Store or Xbox App when installing at that point. After a period of inactivity, I learnt of the Java & Bedrock Edition merge, and tried to follow the steps of using Xbox/Microsoft Store to download that edition.

Starting as of 11 July, my first install (from Xbox app), I admittedly did not pay much attention to, but it's worth noting that it did launch, but in the Trial Mode instead of the full edition. I tried to uninstall this, and downloaded the Minecraft Launcher from Xbox. (It may be good to note that I don't think I uninstalled my original launcher from a year prior, but completely uninstalling and deleting the data from then, and reinstalling the launcher completely did not help ultimately).

I opened the launcher and attempted to install Minecraft for Windows. However, as pictured in the attachments, the ability to choose an install path for it is not possible. The install process seems to progress fine, but pressing play will open the game for a split second before closing, with the error (Unable to locate game files) appearing. This error is also seen on the Xbox App installation itself. (Note: Java Edition is completely unaffected by this, and functions normally)

Actions taken to try and correct and fix this:

• Reinstalling/Repairing/Resetting launcher multiple times, from the Xbox app, the Microsoft Store, and the Mojang Website, and also tried repairing and resetting the Xbox app and Microsoft Store.
• Restarted Computer multiple times.
• Installed Windows Updates, ensured that computer was up to date
• Attempted to wait out the issue after seeing somewhat similar but unrelated reports that it might be resolved in a few days. (It has been two weeks now, but no progress thus far).
• Updated all windows apps from the windows store
• Used WSReset for the Microsoft Store, though to no avail.
• From the Xbox App, attempted to change the default install folder from C:/XboxGame to a different /MyGames Folder in Documents, though this had no effect at all.

Put simply, I'm not sure where the install files for Bedrock Edition are going. The Launcher does appear to be installing something, but I can only locate the Appdata\Roaming\.minecraft files for Java Edition. The Xbox App says that there's 1.06GB  installed somewhere In C: but I can't find it anywhere.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I can provide more info if needed.
