Bought the bundle on xbox with gamepass ultimate and doesnt work

I recently got gamepass ultimate just so i can play java edition on my pc. I downloaded the launcher and everything just to find out that it tells me to buy the game again. I have the windows version but the launcher says its incompatible with it and i have to open it from searching. But i cannot even open java nor bedrock edition which is baffling. I have restarted my pc, reinstalled the launcher, everything i can and it still doesnt work.
