Profiles Wont Load at all

Basically i tried to load minecraft around 2-1 days ago and when it came up it took ages to load any profiles and that ended up to no outcome, I dismissed it as Mojang server maintenence/upgrading with the news of the skin database migration. But i ve tried at least 5 times now and it has done the same, it also could be said for my technic launchers and i have reinstalled them both.

What I expected to happen was that the game would load properely and i would be able to log in.

What actually happened was that the launcher would start up normally and come up with the normal interface but then it would be stuck to loading profiles with no profiles except the quest profile.

I dont think there is any surefire way of getting this bug and it really is chance ive never experienced trouble before with the launcher and im wondering if either people have had the same problems.
