Minecraft Java Edition prompts me to create a Java profile, but I already have one

Recently, Minecraft Java Edition has started to prompt me to "make a username," even though I already created my Java Edition profile. This happens every 24h after I logged in last and forces me to log out and back in to refresh my account and log in. Furthermore, if I do specify my username (South_G), it says "Failed to create profile," probably because the account already has one, but the launcher can't access it.

I would provide a screenshot, but I couldn't get one while I was able to, and now I have to wait 24h to get one, so I'm posting this without one.
