I have to relog in everytime I open minecraft on linux kubuntu

Everytime I relaunch minecraft or close it then open it after a period of time or restart my computer and open the launcher it will have me logged out and it will have an option to click on and log into my account as if I just went to see all of my accounts but then when I click on my account it gives me an error saying "Something went wrong in the long in process" and when I log back in after clicking the microsoft account it works and logs me in BUT at the bottom it says "Oh no! Something went wrong, and you will not be logged in automatically next session."
