Clicking on java sends me to buy it

When I click on the Minecraft java edition app directly instead of going through the launcher it takes me to the "click here to use the launcher to play!" Screen, I clicked it and took me to the Microsoft store on my browser. I own both games. Please help!

Steps to Reproduce:
1. click on Minecraft java edition outside of the launcher
2. then click on the "click here to use the launcher to play!"
