i got minecraft: java edition for free for no reason

i was trying to access minecraft: bedrock edition via the minecraft launcher. (i had already bought it), but when i opened it, there was a play button on the java edition tab, i clicked it, and it worked just fine, but i never bought minecraft java edition.
