Java and Bedrock start buttons load endlessly

previously, the launcher worked well, but after getting Bedrock Edition, I can't launch the game: neither Java nor Bedrock. What can I do?

could it be because I have an old version of the launcher installed? Java Edition works on it, but Bedrock is not supported
