Minecraft launcher just doesn't work

I always played minecraft in the old days, when it worked and it wasn't owned by microsoft, but apparently, everything that microsoft touches starts to fall apart.

I installed the bedrock edition, and whenever I try to start the launcher, I get this error:
"There’s a problem with Minecraft Launcher. Reinstall the application from its original install location or contact your administrator."

Before you provide the typical porposals to get me off your tail, I did all the basic stuff, like updating system, reinstalling, and running as administartor.
