Cannot connect to multiple Microsoft accounts?

I've noticed something odd about the Microsoft account menu, and I am not sure whether it is a bug or not.

After connecting a new Microsoft account to the launcher while another one is already active, the menu will look similar to that MCL1.png file I've attached. As you can see, the two accounts were accessible and I was able to swap in between them with just one click.

But after a few seconds, the account that isn't active anymore gets removed from the list and the menu will look similar to that other MCL2.png file I've attached. Because of this, I always have to open Microsoft's login page again, which is a lengthy and at times annoying process compared to just switching accounts by just clicking on the one I'd like to use instead.

If it is intended that multiple microsoft accounts can be added to the launcher, that means the launcher is unintentionally removing the inactive accounts; but if it is intended that only one microsoft account can be accessible at once, that means the launcher isn't disconnecting from the inactive accounts quick enough.
