Minecraft Launcher saying that I don't own Minecraft Java

So, when I open the launcher and log into my account it says that I don't have Minecraft java anymore and that I can only play the demo. It also says that I need to check my internet connection but my internet is working just fine. I'm not sure what to do to get it fixed.
