Game Crashes Instantly On Launch

Hi! So I was having this problem for a while now. Basically, I open the launcher, everything is fine, I press "Play", ready to start playing. Once the loading is done, the Minecraft Launcher closes for a few seconds. So far, normal. Then after a few seconds, the Launcher opens and says "Game Crashed. An unexpected issue occurred and the game has crashed. We're sorry for the inconvenience. Exit Code: 0". Now, I wonder why the Exit Code is "0". And from what I'm thinking, there is just no problem at all, but the Launcher just does not want to open the game. Lastly, I want to mention that I did try the Windows 7/8 Launcher.
