NativeUpdater Quit Unexpectedly

here's the full report. Bought Minecraft Java for my son last week and haven't been able to use it. Mojang has been no help, just told me to report this, so here it is and I'm now asking for a refund because we cannot use the game on our Mac computer. Reported this to Apple and they can't figure it out either, says there has to be an issue on your end. This is for Version 973, based on the Minecraft Information window.
