Nothing happens when I install Minecraft Dungoens

When I logged in today it asked me to update dungeons (which was in a failed state).  I attempted to install the Minecraft Dungeons app, which worked previously a few weeks ago. Also it suggested I get the new Microsoft launcher, and migrate my account, so I did that. I hit install, selected my secondary drive (with ~635gb free), and proceeded. It went back to the dungeons page in the launcher, and replaced the "install" button with a "play button" which is greyed out.  Nothing additionally popped up, nothing gave any indication of installation.  I waited several minutes, with 0 indications of change.  i checked my add/remove programs, and saw it is not installed.  i looked in task manager and saw nothing that looked like installation, so i rebooted.  Attempted the same thing, and with similar results.  I searched online and only found one other person with a similar issue but their issue was cancelled after no reply.  

 

Affects above, since i can't install, i'm not sure what version it affects.
