Can Access Demo, but can't play full game

When I log in with my Microsoft account, the full game doesn't show up and it gives me an error saying a problem has occurred. I can play a demo world just fine. This happened as soon as I voluntarily switched my Mojang account over to a Microsoft account. I really don't wanna have to buy a new copy of Java Edition.
