minecraft launcher not working

Hi, my name is karim i bought mc java for like a month and decided to change my username from omarxking3176 to omarxking, after i had done that i went to play servers and it said "not authenticated with minecraft.net". then i learned i have to install the official launcher and relog but the launcher of windows 10/11 didnt work and it kept saying making things awesome for hours without any progress and i am now not playing servers please help me. when i meant the launcher not working i meant not installing or bugged so please help me.
