Minecraft Launcher Installer doesn't work

A little while ago, when I tried to open Minecraft, the launcher didn't work at all. I looked up some articles and videos to get some help and one video suggested deleting and installing Minecraft. I did, and I am able to download the actual launcher, but whenever I try to go further, I get the message; "Looks like something went wrong. We weren't able to install the app (0x80070005)". It's been like this for more than a week now, and I feel like I've tried everything to no avail. I've also tried to use the Microsoft Store app, but I only get an error as my result.
