Won't move passed login

I have not been able to find an issue relating to my problem anywhere, with the exception of one unanswered request on Reddit. Ever since I migrated to Microsoft and began using that launcher, I am forever stuck in a logging-in screen (the one where its just squares moving clockwise). I could log into the Mojang Launcher with the Microsoft account, but never can get passed this phase on the Windows app. I have uninstalled Minecraft and both launchers. Reinstalled the game and the Windows launcher again, but continue to have the same issue. I have yet to receive an answer as to why. If I'm doing something wrong. I don't mind learning how to fix it, but I have not been able to play since and I miss it. Thank you for your time.
