iCUE profile switching not supported by new launcher

iCUE is a software for my Corsair mouse and keyboard and allows me to program lights + macros. The program can detect what the current active application is and switch to the appropriate profile. This worked with the old java launcher, I could point it to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft\runtime\java-runtime-alpha\windows-x64\java-runtime-alpha\bin\javaw.exe" for the current version of Java, or "C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft\runtime\jre-legacy\windows-x64\jre-legacy\bin\javaw.exe" for any old versions. For some reason, when launching minecraft through the new windows launcher, iCUE doesnt detect the same java apps despite them showing in task manager, and when I click "show file location" in task manager it opens the same locations.
