Can't access old Minecraft account with new launcher.

Basically when i downloaded the new mc launcher, it didnt recognise my MC account from my microsoft there wasnt a button to: Add microsoft account, so i cant log in to my account on which i own minecraft on. I can log in to my microsoft account but not to my MC account.
