New Microsoft MC Launcher can't connect to Minecraft services

Weirdly the new Windows App can't connect to Minecraft services which means I can't play normal minecraft, can only play the demo edition. The only version I own is java edition so I don't know about other editions and I have migrated my account to microsoft if that is important info.
